About Us

It all started in the 60's when Mom and Dad saw that I had a penchant for scribbling in any book within my grasp. The steady supply of crayons, watercolors and "How to Draw" books followed. Since there was barely one channel on TV, creativity was my outlet.

 My first work of art that gained notoriety was a massive "P**S OFF" written with snow on my school. The sweet Nuns that taught at our school ratted me out and a trip to the principal's office ensued. I was 11 or so.

 From that point on, I was hooked on this artistic thing and the subsequent responses my creations would garner. It was also my first exposure to my art being criticized.

 My keen interest in photography, painting, pencil sketching, black ink pointillism and writing has kept me stimulated. I have owned and tried pretty much every musical instrument out there and am a master of none. I'll keep trying.  

 My career as an artist, shop owner and t-shirt printer has spanned 45 years. It's what I do. A t-shirt is the canvas for my art and creativity.

 BUT, this isn't about me. Though I may be the founder and driving force behind it, i: the creative has it's own voice. The artist's voice. Your voice.

 i: the creative is the brand that aims to be a positive influence. A cheerleader for all artists. A booster club. A safe place to be seen and understood. A place to connect with other creatives.

 You wear i: the creative to express your pride of being an artist. When you say i: the creative, you reference yourself. You are that creative.
